Demountable systems were designed to be fitted on stakebed bodies, tipping units, hydraulic cranes, hook systems and concrete mixers.
Construction details
The system for demountable units has vertical pistons with 350 mm throw which raise the unit from the chassis, a horizontal piston fitted with a pulling block secures the unit to the sub-frame and hooks it to the anchoring wedges.
A hydraulic lock at the tail of the vehicle stops the unit from accidentally sliding. There is a warning light for this lock in the driver's cab.
The hydraulic system consists of:
- 100 litre oil tank with return line filter
- electro-distributor with automatic command sequence
- modular tipping valve
- safety valve
- mechanism for raising and lowering tipping unit fitted with quick coupling system
- pneumatic modular command unit for operating the tipping unit and the power take-off
- 24 V 160 AH power socket with fuse
